Indect Progress: A PKI infrastructure for uniquely identifying nodes in the system | Lilith Lela

Because the nodes are transferring between themselves sensitive data, all network traffic in the system must be encrypted. Known, tested and widely used encryption protocols should be used to minimize the possibility of unauthorized persons accessing the data. The second problem is authentication. As many of the nodes are operating remotely, system must be immune to an attempt of some nodes impersonating others. A PKI infrastructure should be used to uniquely identify nodes in the system.
